Mount Bolshoy Kirs

Bolshoy Kirs (Azerbaijani: Böyük Kirs) is a majestic mountain peak located in Azerbaijan on the Karabakh Ridge. Its height reaches 2725 meters, making it one of the highest peaks in the region. The mountain is composed of various volcanic and sedimentary rocks formed during the Middle Jurassic period. Bolshoy Kirs is situated at the intersection of the Khojavend and Shusha districts, and it is here that the Allicay River begins its course. This mountain is not only an important geographical feature but also a place of unique natural beauty and rich flora and fauna.
