Nikola Duman House-Museum

The Nikola Duman House-Museum, also known as the Museum of Folk Architecture, Ethnography, and Rural Life, is located in the picturesque village of Tsakhkashat in the Askeran region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. This unique ethnographic museum is a complex of residential buildings from the 19th century, which have been restored using original materials. These are mainly two-story houses with exquisite wooden balconies, reflecting the best architectural traditions of that time. Visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the past and learn more about the life and customs of local residents in the past.
