Shavi Klde Mountain

The Trialeti Range is a mountain range in Georgia, located on the right bank of the Kura River, west of Tbilisi. Its length is estimated at approximately 150-200 km, and its width is about 30 km. This range is an important watershed and was formed by volcanic activity during the Paleogene period. It consists of flysch and volcanic rocks.

In the southern part of the Trialeti Range, on the Tsalka Plateau, a group of archaeological finds belonging to the so-called Trialeti culture of the Middle Bronze Age (early 2nd millennium BC) was discovered between 1936 and 1940. These include rich burials in large kurgans, including pit and pitless graves with "burial halls".
