Altunizade Mosque

The mosque was built in 1866 during the Ottoman Empire. It was created by Altunizade Ismail Zühtü Pasha, who named the district after himself. This building has large windows that let in a lot of light, making the interior spacious and cozy. The mosque's style combines Baroque elements, wall decorations, and inscriptions, making it very attractive.

The mosque's roof is covered by a single large wooden dome, which gives the building a special appearance. In 2005, the mosque underwent a comprehensive reconstruction to preserve its historical significance. Stone walls and white marble were used in its construction, giving the building strength and elegance. It stands on a rectangular foundation measuring 17x22 meters, making it one of the significant architectural monuments of the region.
