Capitol AVM Shopping Center

Capitol Shopping Center, also known as Capitol Alışveriş Merkezi in Turkish, opened in 1993 in the Altunizade district of Üsküdar, becoming the first modern large shopping center on the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey. This 6-story shopping complex, covering an area of 73,000 m2, offers visitors 157 retail stores, a department store, MMM Migros supermarket, 8 cinemas, fast-food restaurants, cafeterias, a bowling alley, and an entertainment center. Additionally, the complex houses the private radio station Capitol Radio. For visitors' convenience, there are both outdoor and indoor parking facilities. Several cafes are located around the central fountain, where one can relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the Capitol Shopping Center.
