Yenikoy Synagogue. The Yenikoy Synagogue is a historic building located in the Yenikoy district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the northern side of the Bosphorus Strait. According to legend, it was built by Abraham Salomon Camondo in the late 19th century. The synagogue was recently restored thanks to the return of the Jewish population to the area. Currently, only Saturday prayers are held here, and the synagogue serves as a community center for local Jews.
