Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi Mosque

The Aziz Mahmud Hudayi Mosque is a historical building that was built in the Aziz Mahmud Hudayi district of Uskudar, Istanbul, during the Ottoman Empire. This temple was commissioned by Asiye Humashah Sultan, the granddaughter of Suleiman the Magnificent, in memory of her third husband, Aziz Mahmud Hudayi. The construction of the mosque began in 1589 and was completed 6 years later, in 1595, when the temple was opened for prayers. The architectural style of the mosque reflects traditional Ottoman patterns and details, making it a significant monument of Istanbul's history and culture.
