Shakirin Mosque

The Shakirin Mosque, built in 2009, is one of the unique architectural masterpieces in Istanbul. It has two elegant minarets, an aluminum dome, and a beautiful fountain. The interior decoration of the mosque is striking in its beauty and uniqueness. Here you can see a golden-turquoise mihrab that resembles a seashell, as well as an acrylic mini-bar, which is unusual for mosques. However, traditional elements such as steps for delivering sermons have been preserved.

A special feature of this mosque is that women are allowed to pray on the balcony, which is not often encountered. The entrance to the mosque is open not only to Muslims but also to tourists, allowing everyone to feel the atmosphere of this amazing place. Unfortunately, I do not have photos from inside the mosque, but it is definitely worth a visit to see its beauty with your own eyes.
